Dear Cai, Thank you for the postcard and the wonderful drawing of our house. We call the house Hannah, Hannah the House of Hope. We have one chicken, called Lola and a dog, called Jimmy the Wonder Dog. We’ve turned our front garden into a big veggie patch and we have because it is summer we have tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, apples, blackberries, quinces and spinach growing. We also have herbs like parsley, oregano, rosemary and basil growing on the verge so people in the street can pick them. We have a son, Eddie and he is six and loves Star Wars and lego. Our house was built in the 1950s and the woman who owned it before us was a florist and has planted all sorts of interesting flowers like daphne which smells delicious and pink hydrangeas that kind of look like clouds. We are so pleased that you like our house and that you choose to write to us. It really is the best picture of our house we have ever seen. Thank you to you and Alex for making this project happen.
