Dear I Pre (I’m not sure I’m reading that correctly?) – we received your postcard this afternoon and we think it’s BEAUTIFUL. The tree you liked at the front of our house is one of the many that line our street; they were planted over 60 years ago when all the houses were built and they are oak trees. In summer they make Hope street into a shady green tunnel but in Autumn the leaves and acorns get EVERYWHERE. Because we have lots of trees here, we also have lots of possums, which can be very funny to watch but a bit scary when they walk over the roof in the middle of the night … Thank you so much for sending us your postcard with the beautiful picture you drew.
