Our house is old (built in 1792) and is “A -Listed” because it is of great architectural and historical importance. Our house is what is called a “Georgian Town House”. We are located in the city centre of Edinburgh. Edinburgh is the capital city of a small country called Scotland.

I read in the news that Australia is having a very hot summer. I don’t like hot weather. Scotland is a much colder country….however this winter we’ve had no snow. Instead we’ve had a a lot of rain and a lot of very high winds.

Hi Dakota, I am not a writer. I recently graduated in Criminal Law …but I cannot find a job. The economic and job situation is very bad in Scotland. I keep myself busy doing voluntary and charity work. Opposite my house is a famous square called “Charlotte Square” and on “Charlotte Square” there is a famous historical house/museum called the “Georgian House”. Sometimes I am a volunteer guide there….here is a link to some images.
